The interesting side of working in the travel industry is there actually are no fixed seasons: in summer we are preparing winterwonderland trips to destinations like Austria, Switzerland and Norway,  in winter the summer vibes take over while setting up itineraries for Africa, Southern Europe, Asia and South America. So why not join us and get inspired for a MICE trip to winter fairytale Vienna in Austria? Did you know that the Christmas markets will pop-up in less than two months, earlier than elsewhere?

Biscuits, roasted chestnuts and punch not only at the Christmas markets – even many restaurants in the city have terraces or patios and are available for an outdoor reception with hot drinks during the cold season. After warming up with a steamy hot chocolate you will be ready for a game of “Eisstockschiessen”, the traditional Austrian variant of curling. To be followed by the famous “Ganslessen” – goose, side dishes and schnaps – in one of the cozy Viennese taverns of course.

Already mid-November most of the Christmas markets in Vienna open and spread a cosy Christmas feeling. Everywhere you will smell the wonderful aromas of Christmas trees, hot chocolate and winter spices. Do you have plans to visit Vienna in November? Make sure you will not miss the Christmas market in front of the town hall, opening from November 12th until December 24th.
