General statement
Travelmediate is a representation company for DMC’s (Destination Management Companies). The address of our head office is: Anthony Fokkerweg 61, 1059 CP Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Travelmediate respects your privacy and does not publish personal information about you through its websites, newsletters and social media channels without your upfront permission. Any personal information we have is treated in accordance with the latest data protection laws.

Collection and use of information
We collect information from you when you register or complete a form on one of our websites, sign-up for our newsletter, give us your business card, inform us about your contact details by email, telephone or other communication ways, attend one of our events or educational trips. Your general and personal information will be kept only as long as what reasonably and legally necessary.

In the software systems we use, we minimize the data we use and store. We use different software systems and try to minimize the data we use and store.

In the software we use for our general newsletters, we only keep your email address and at the bottom of each general newsletter, you have the option to change your subscription e.g. to unsubscribe for the receival of it.

In the software we use as CRM-system we keep your first name, last name, gender, business email address, business telephone number, business title, company name, company address and company website. With the company details we also store the requests made in the past and at this current moment towards the DMC’s. We do not keep any information about the final client or the persons who travel with your company.

In the software we use for our accounting we keep the legal invoice address, contracts, contact persons details and if needed VAT-number, bank account details and other necessary business registrations.

When you join us on an educational trip we ask you for your passport details, so we can make a reservation for your flight, but as soon as the trip is done we remove such information again out of our systems. This means that should you join us more than once on an educational trip we always ask you again for these details.

How and why do we use your information
We use this information to send you our general newsletters, to communicate with you about our services as well as the services of the DMC’s we represent. We also use this information to send you invitations, meeting requests, news and announcements about us and the DMC’s we represent.

Collection and use of technical information
Some of our websites and software are collecting temporary session cookies, which helps your web browser to remember which pages you have already visited and also helps us with statistic information. We do not collect information that can be used to personally identify visitors of our websites and we will also not attempt to identify individual visitors.  

Links to other websites and third party disclosure
On our websites we have links to other (third-party) websites. We have for example links to the websites of the DMC’s we represent, in order to give you all the information you might need. These third-party websites have their own privacy policies and we cannot be responsible or liable for the content and or activities of these third-party websites.

We do not transfer personal information to outside parties. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our websites, conducting our business, the DMC’s we represent, as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Security and updates on our privacy policy
The security of the personal information we have from you is important to us and we strive to use commercially acceptable means and software to protect your personal information. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We do our utmost best, but cannot guarantee its absolute security.
